Step by step

    Use the transport bar at the top for playback, record, cycle, metronome, tempo and time signature.

    Show or hide the Inspector with View → Inspector (⌥I) and the media browser with View → Media Browser (⌥B).

  3. 03

    Press ⌥L, or choose View → Mixer, to show or hide the lower zone with its Mixer, Editor, Instrument and other tabs.

  4. 04

    Click the lower-zone button on the rail to bring it back.

  5. 05

    Drag the dividers between panels to resize them.
